Thank you for your patronage and support over the years.  We have had a great time creating birdhouses and birdfeeders for people around the country.

We no longer offer birdhouses or birdfeeders, and have temporarily halted our custom woodworking business.  Once we get our new location established, we hope to reopen our doors.

But do keep the birds happy!  They are going to need your help through the winter and early next spring when those that do leave finally return.

They'll sing you a special song of joy and gratitude!

We are a Montana-based business dedicated to designing and handcrafting  custom wood-based products for you and your home.  We have spent many years designing and building products from elegant furniture to rustic birdhouses and birdfeeders. We hope that you have enjoyed what we've offered.

From the Forests
Spirit Lake Designs' products are built using wood from RBM Lumber in Columbia Falls, Montana. The RBM management and employees have a passion for managing the forests without sacrificing the balance and beauty of nature. The company practices sustainable salvage logging, taking some trees that have been blown over by storms or that died from disease or insects, and leaving some on the ground for wildlife habitat and good soil production. We are pleased to use materials that do not require the logging of healthy growing trees. The wood has a wide variety of beautiful natural characteristics, so that no two products are exactly alike.
