Hallway and mudroom benches We have built numerous benches over the years to accommodate various needs. This one is a multiple purpose unit serving as a bench in a guest room as well as a workout bench. Eastern knotty pine and Douglas fir with Shaker pine stain and three polyurethane clear coats were used.

Below is another bench designed for storage in a master bedroom as well as a convenient place to sit and change socks, put on shoes, etc. This piece takes advantage of the beautiful colorations in the blue-stained pine wood. It has two large deep pullout drawer slide drawers, handmade drawer pulls, and a natural edged top rail for a cushion. Finished with an amber stain and three coats of polyurethane.
