As part of a condo remodel, the railing system to the upper loft had to be replaced. A rough cedar railing system with powdered coated balusters was designed and implemented.
Spice racks
There never seems to be enough room in the kitchen to accommodate spices. We used a 3” space at the end of a kitchen counter area to accommodate over 60 spice bottles. The result is a compact, high capacity, and easy to see and use spice rack. We used ponderosa pine, cottonwood and cedar stained to match existing cabinetry and finished it with three polyurethane clear coats.
Customer Shelving
Shelving requirements vary greatly from simple top shelves in closets to the A/V requirements in a new home such as these. Each “shelf” is a pullout design using full extension ball bearing slides to accommodate all the A/V components being accessible for cabling. The TV also has a swivel mounted base atop the pullout shelf. Materials were solid oak and oak veneered plywood stained to match existing trim. Three coasts of oil-based polyurethane were used as a finish.
Bookshelves
Here is one of a pair of simple bookshelves in a guest room to store all the paperback books and knickknacks the client had accumulated. Mostly cedar wood, stained to match existing trim and three coats of polyurethane finish were used.
